Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call coverage required one week every two months. Weekend on-call rotation approximately once every two months, plus 1-2 holidays on-call per year.

Highlights:

• Work in one of the region's largest and most advanced Electrophysiology programs within a specialized cardiac hospital setting
• Perform a comprehensive range of specialized procedures including cardiac ablations, device implantations, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extractions, arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, and left atrial appendage closures
• Utilize Epic charting system and state-of-the-art cardiac mapping systems with cutting-edge cardiology technologies
• Collaborate with world-renowned electrophysiologists and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes
• 6-bed unit with daily census of approximately 22 patients; patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Electrophysiology Lab experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• 2 professional references required; at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Ability to complete urgent credentialing requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
