Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology Technologist – West Virginia

Start Date: July 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends, no holidays, and no call required. 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Highlights:

  • Work in a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
  • Daily caseload of 8-10 procedures per technologist in a state-of-the-art Electrophysiology Lab
  • Comprehensive EP case mix including pacemaker/defibrillator implants, cardiac ablations, PVI, structural heart procedures (LAAO), mapping (Carto, ESI), and cardioversions
  • Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend, holiday, or call requirements
  • Work with advanced equipment including BARD, Carto, ESI, and PFA systems
  • Cerner charting system with free parking provided for travelers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Must be competent in all aspects of EP procedures including ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator implants, and structural heart interventions
  • Active West Virginia state license or compact license required (pending license accepted for submission but must have active WV license in hand to start)
  • ARRT (R) registration required; WV does not recognize RCIS as licensed to work in the Cath Lab
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
  • Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
  • Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (75-99 miles may be considered case-by-case)
