Description
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Compensation: $92/hour – Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week available. Every other weekend and on-call requirement.
Highlights:
- Work with cardiac and telemetry patients in a progressive care environment (non-stepdown unit)
- Manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
- Comprehensive orientation with preceptorship and competency validation program
- Potential temp-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate
- Full-time position with guaranteed hours and supportive team environment
- Overtime available after 48 hours per week
Requirements:
- Active RN License in Virginia or compact state licensure
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Ability to work night shifts with rotating weekend and on-call coverage
