Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Surgical Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts as assigned; no block scheduling available. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 with support from nursing techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries during night shifts.

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor with diverse and complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma victims, and patients with spinal cord injuries
• EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Comprehensive nursing support including dedicated techs, phlebotomy services, and administrative assistance
• Structured handoff process with ED nurses and admitting units to ensure continuity of care
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required in surgical or trauma nursing
• No time off requests (RTO) during contract period

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical or trauma nursing specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system required
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts as scheduled
