Description
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Highlights:
- 52-bed Emergency Department at a large acute care facility
- Patient ratios: 3:1 average, low acuity up to 5:1, team nursing for pediatric patients
- EMR system: Meditech/CPN with Alaris equipment
- Collaborative pod-based staffing model with dedicated charge nurse, physicians, and support staff per pod
- Comprehensive patient care including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric emergency care
- Travel assignment with competitive benefits
Requirements:
- Active Kansas RN license or ability to obtain
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
- ENPC certification preferred
- Meditech experience strongly preferred
- Previous travel experience in large facilities preferred
- Barcode medication scanning proficiency required
