Description
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexible options for (4) 9-hour days per week (36 hours total). Call coverage required 1-2 nights per week and every 4th weekend.
Highlights:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including left and right heart cath, STEMI procedures, and percutaneous coronary interventions
- Work with GE imaging equipment in a 2-room lab environment with approximately 7 procedures per day
- Exposure to electrophysiology procedures including device changes, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders
- Cross-training opportunities in vascular and interventional radiology procedures
- Comprehensive orientation of 40 hours provided to ensure smooth transition
- Collaborative interdisciplinary team support including pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit support staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist required
- Cardiac catheterization experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with electrophysiology, vascular, or interventional radiology procedures is a plus
- Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) certifications required
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, PTCA, and vascular closure systems
- Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge-level reference acceptable for second reference
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing must be completed promptly upon contract signing
