Description
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week with opportunity to pick up additional shifts (up to 48 hours based on availability); every other weekend
Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a specialized behavioral health setting with 198 inpatient beds across nine age-specific units
- Work with diverse patient populations including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults
- Collaborate with board-certified psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered, compassionate care
- Opportunity for additional hours beyond the standard 40-hour work week based on facility needs
- No on-call requirements
- Focus on crisis stabilization, medication management, and discharge planning in a recovery-focused environment
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience required
- Pediatric nursing experience required
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans
- Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills
- Commitment to maintaining professional excellence and compassionate care standards
