Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour weeks, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required. Day shift staff complete 2 detox rounds daily (approximately 1:50 ratio each). Night shift staff complete 1 detox round and 1 MOUD round (approximately 1:50 and 1:75 ratios respectively). Be prepared to be on your feet for 80% of your shift.

• Work with patients managing substance withdrawal, including Suboxone inductions, Methadone administration, and detox medication management
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Comprehensive orientation including MOAB de-escalation certification provided on-site
• Interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, interpretation services, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active RN license (pending licenses accepted at submission)
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and valid (RQI certifications not accepted)
• MOAB certification required or must successfully complete 4-hour de-escalation course during first week
• Prior experience in Med/Surg, Emergency Department, or Corrections preferred; candidates with experience managing CIWA protocols and substance withdrawal strongly encouraged
• Experience with detox/MAT, substance withdrawal assessment, and medication-assisted treatment preferred
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius of facility location
• Ability to pass facility background check and drug screening
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
