Job Opportunity – Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Georgia

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with every other weekend rotation. Schedule may vary based on facility needs.

Highlights:

• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced laboratory environment serving a large hospital system (600+ beds)
• Utilize advanced hematology systems including Sysmex and CellaVision technology
• Perform critical differential analysis for diverse patient populations including large neonatal units
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Engage with complex samples daily including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings
• Immediate integration with minimal onboarding time for experienced professionals

Requirements:

• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification required
• Current certification through ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty area
• Hands-on experience with hematology, core lab procedures, Sysmex, and CellaVision systems
• Prior experience in a large hospital laboratory setting (600+ beds) strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency in performing accurate differentials and managing complex specimen challenges
• Cerner laboratory information system experience required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility location
