Description
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment with 2:1 patient ratio (days, nights, and weekends). Every-other-weekend requirement. One summer and two winter holidays (one evening and one night shift) to be assigned based on facility needs. No on-call requirements. 24 hours of orientation provided.

- No floating to other units during assignment
- Scrubs provided by facility
- Care for neonates presenting with prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal sepsis, neonatal abstinence syndrome, hypoglycemia, and hyperbilirubinemia
- Skills include blood glucose monitoring, phototherapy, IV starts and maintenance, blood product administration, breastfeeding support, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, ventilator management, and developmental care
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
- Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact state license accepted)
- BLS and NRP certifications required and must be current
- Proficiency with electronic charting systems
- Experience with neonates 34 weeks and older, sepsis workups, lumbar puncture assistance, APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, phlebotomy, and patient/family teaching
- Competency with Vapotherm, Bubble CPAP, high-flow oxygen delivery, ETT and nasal suctioning, chest tube management, and meconium aspiration protocols
- Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background clearance required (must be completed promptly)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
