Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatric Critical Care – Ohio

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Northeast Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available; 8 or 12 week contract with potential for extension

Highlights:

• Provide specialized respiratory care across multiple pediatric critical care environments including NICU, PICU, and CVICU
• Work with high-acuity Level IV NICU patients requiring advanced respiratory support
• May float to multiple affiliated pediatric units including children's rehabilitation and regional NICU locations
• Comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development modules provided
• Contract extension opportunities available up to 18 months

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RRT license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• NBRC certification required
• BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications (active and current)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated experience in pediatrics, PICU, and NICU settings with high-level acuity patients
• Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director from assignments within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Nicotine-free status required; 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine testing completed within 12 months of start
• Successfully complete background check and fingerprinting requirements prior to start
• All time-off requests and scheduling preferences must be communicated during interview process
