Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Mixed cardiac and medical ICU environment caring for complex patient populations including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator-dependent patients
• Hands-on experience with advanced cardiac support technologies including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps and Impellas
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
• No floating required; no call obligation
• 13-week assignment with potential temp-to-perm opportunity
• Structured onboarding with designated preceptor and competency validation process

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates considered
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT strongly preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
