Location: Alexandria, Louisiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed. Every other weekend required. No call. No floating.

Highlights:

• Mixed cardiac and medical ICU with diverse patient population including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator management
• Must have experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
• Overtime not billable until after 48 hours worked
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available
• Two positions available

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum one year of Critical Care experience preferred
• Required experience with advanced cardiac support devices and critical care procedures
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
