Schedule: Medical/Surgical unit nursing assignment

Highlights:

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting with diverse case mix including pre- and post-operative patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage specialized equipment, and monitor patient vital signs and clinical responses
• Engage in patient and family education including discharge planning and post-treatment home care instruction
• Opportunity to practice full scope of nursing skills including IV therapy, wound care, catheter insertion, and emergency response
• Contract position starting August 2026 in a community hospital environment

Requirements:

• Active Wyoming RN license or multistate compact RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (required)
• Strong clinical assessment and time management skills
• Experience with medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and patient education
• Ability to respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols
• Accurate and timely documentation skills with experience using electronic medical records
