Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift with every other weekend. Rotation occurs every 4 weeks. Weekend shifts on nights consist of Friday and Saturday nights (Sunday is not considered a weekend shift). Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Highlights:

• Neuro ICU specialization treating ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages, seizures, neuromuscular diseases, meningitis, and post-operative neurosurgery patients
• Patient ratio estimated at 1:1 to 1:2 depending on acuity and unit needs
• Epic electronic health record system
• Exposure to advanced neuro monitoring including EVD, ICP monitoring, EEG, and mechanically ventilated patients
• Bedside procedures include tracheostomy, PEG placement, central line and arterial line placement, and EVD management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and lift teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Epic EHR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
