Location: New Mexico

Compensation: $90/hour

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Weekend, on-call, and floating requirements apply.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Active RN License in New Mexico or current Compact state license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish individualized care plans
• Reassess patients systematically to monitor progress and implement timely interventions
• Document care accurately and modify treatment plans based on patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning activities
• Delegate and coordinate team assignments to ensure quality patient care delivery
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed
• Serve as a resource and mentor to unit staff, students, and visitors
• Promote a positive, professional work environment that supports organizational goals
