Job Opportunity – Echocardiography Technologist – Alaska

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday schedule (specific days may vary week to week), 70 guaranteed hours per 2-week period. On-call coverage approximately 1 day per week with 30-minute response time requirement.

• Exposure to advanced echo modalities including 2-D, 3-D, TEE, stress echo, and contrast imaging

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of echo technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required
• ARDMS or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Competency in adult acute care, emergency department, and ICU settings
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Skills must include 2-D Echo, Color Doppler, TEE, stress echo, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel assignment only)
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
