# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Antepartum/Labor and Delivery – Austin, TexasStart Date: August 3, 2026Location: Austin, TexasCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, rotating nights/weekends, no call requiredHighlights:- 24-bed antepartum unit with 3:1 to 4:1 patient ratios (occasionally 2:1 based on acuity)- Manage specialized maternal care including non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, and heparin drips- Work with dual EMR systems: Meditech and CPN- Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff- Day shift includes charge nurse, 4 RNs, and unit clerk support- Labor and Delivery RNs cross-trained to support antepartum careRequirements:- Active RN license- BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications required- Previous Labor and Delivery or Antepartum experience strongly preferred- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Adherence to facility dress code standardsWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This role offers the chance to provide specialized maternal and fetal care in a well-established antepartum unit.
