Description
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend and every other holiday required; no on-call; 12-hour orientation provided
Highlights:
- Dual-specialty role combining Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience
- Work with advanced respiratory equipment including Hamilton G5, PB 980, Respironics V60, Optiflow, and specialized therapy devices
- Epic charting system preferred for streamlined documentation
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
- Exposure to diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Collaborative environment with Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
Requirements:
- Current Pennsylvania state license required at time of submission
- Active RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
- NRP and PALS certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in both Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings
- Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience
- Proficiency with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and airway management
- Experience with arterial blood gas interpretation and mechanical ventilation weaning
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Valid professional references required
- Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearances required (must be completed within specified timeframes)
- Flu vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions considered)
- Candidates residing within 50 miles may be subject to local rate differential
