Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Georgia

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Columbus, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts available (please indicate preference at time of application). Every other weekend required. Float to sister campus as needed.

Highlights:

• Level 2 trauma center with interventional stroke certification and Level 3 NICU capabilities
• Serve as regional NICU transport resource with diverse patient population from infants to geriatrics
• Comprehensive respiratory care including arterial line placement, bedside pulmonary function testing, and advanced ventilation management
• Work with Epic EMR and state-of-the-art equipment including Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, and Viaysis Avea ventilators
• 13-week assignment with up to 7 days of time off per contract
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RRT License or Compact state eligibility
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Trauma experience required; pulmonary function testing (spirometry) preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Proficiency in managing non-invasive and conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, arterial blood gases, and oxygen management
• All compliance documentation must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date
