Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment to all Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors with cardiac patient populations. Patient ratio 1:3-4. Limited time off requests.

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiac patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain protocols
• Experience with advanced cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels
• EPIC Electronic Medical Records system in use
• Dynamic float pool environment providing diverse clinical experience across multiple units
• Opportunity to work in a large, well-established healthcare facility

Requirements:

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years progressive care or intermediate care experience in a similar-sized facility
• Strong cardiac care background with experience managing critical cardiac patients
• Proficiency with cardiac drip administration and monitoring
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
