Description
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48-hour contract week; staffing a 16-bed IMCU with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- Work in a dynamic Intermediate Medical Care Unit treating a diverse patient population
- Manage conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
- Gain experience with critical interventions such as heparin drips in a progressive care environment
- Collaborate with an experienced healthcare team in a high-acuity setting
- Maintain a manageable 1:4 patient ratio while delivering quality care
- Contract assignment with immediate need and clear start date
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of IMCU or progressive care nursing experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Experience managing heparin drips and complex medical patients
