Description
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week contract, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), no on-call requirements
Highlights:
- 97-bed Level 3 NICU with well-established team of approximately 200 nursing professionals
- Manageable patient ratios of 3–4 patients per RN
- Modern technology including Medfusion pumps, Alaris systems, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
- EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
- Structured day shift schedule with dedicated unit clerk support
- Seasonal contract position with no weekend or on-call obligations
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS certifications
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Adherence to strict dress code policy: navy scrubs, no nail polish or artificial nails
