Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment to all PCU/IMCU units with cardiac populations; nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4; may also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels within the same unit

Highlights:

• Float to all Progressive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Unit floors specializing in cardiac patient populations
• Manage STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain presentations
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• EPIC EMR system in use across all units
• Minimal requested time off (RTO) to ensure consistent staffing and continuity of care
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple PCU/IMCU environments

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or intermediate care nursing experience in a similar-sized facility
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac patient care and cardiac drip management
• Ability to float across multiple units and adapt to varying patient populations
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
