Description
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend (average 6 weekend shifts per contract); flexible scheduling required for float pool
Highlights:
- Float pool position covering Med-Surg, Med-Surg Telemetry, and Progressive Care units
- Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 Med-Surg and Med-Surg Telemetry
- Epic EMR experience required; SBAR and Pyxis utilized
- Adult and geriatric patient population with diverse diagnoses across all specialties
- No call requirements; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, lift teams, and pharmacy
- Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 Med-Surg/Telemetry and 1:4-5 PCU
- Flexibility to float to multiple units across Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care specialties
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
