Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Schedule: Day or night shift available; patient ratio maximum 6:1; rotating weekends as needed

• Unit specializes in medical/surgical patients including orthopedic and neurosurgery cases
• Comprehensive patient care utilizing full nursing skill set including IV placement, catheter care, and central line maintenance
• Potential for floating to other med/surg units within the facility
• Supportive team environment with dedicated charge nurses on each shift

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1+ years of acute medical/surgical experience within the last year
• Demonstrated ability to manage 4-6 patients simultaneously
• Experience with orthopedic, neurosurgery, or med/surg/telemetry background strongly preferred
• Proficiency in standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, and medication administration
• Strong communication and electronic health record documentation skills
