Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Progressive Care Unit assignment with nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4

Highlights:

• 28-bed Progressive Care Unit / Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac population
• Experience with cardiac emergencies including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May also provide care to telemetry patients with lower acuity levels within the same unit
• Work within a well-established facility serving a high-acuity patient population
• Opportunity to enhance critical care and cardiac nursing skills

Requirements:

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of documented Progressive Care Unit or Intermediate Care experience in a similar-sized facility
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Strong cardiac nursing background with experience managing hemodynamically unstable patients
• Professional badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic documentation required
