Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Every third weekend required; Call coverage includes minimum 7 call days per month (typically two call days per week for two weeks each month, plus one call weekend per month)

Highlights:

• 90% Interventional Radiology focus in a combination IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab environment
• Assist providers with diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures; both scrub and circulate roles
• 13-week assignment or longer, with potential extension through February 27
• Comprehensive orientation of 40-80 hours with direct unit placement on Mondays
• Work with specialized equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, IABP, Impella, and various atherectomy and ablation systems
• Scrubs provided on-site

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab/IR Technologist
• Must have significant Interventional Radiology experience (90% IR-focused role)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and either ARRT or RCIS
• Required Skills: Scrub and circulate proficiency, telemetry experience
• Preferred: EKG lead placement skills, ARRT Advanced Certification, RCES, or RCIS with medical experience
• North Carolina state license or Compact license
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Availability for on-call coverage with 30-minute callback time for STEMIs
