Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Wisconsin

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week; Evening/Night shifts including 8 and 12-hour rotations (1900-0730, 2300-0730, 1500-2330); every other weekend rotation; one on-call shift every 6-week scheduling period; one winter holiday required out of three offered

• Provide respiratory care across all patient populations: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Utilize Epic charting system with extensive clinical support from interdisciplinary teams
• Deliver advanced respiratory interventions including mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and bronchoscopy assistance
• 40-hour comprehensive orientation to support successful onboarding
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Graduate of a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) accredited School for Respiratory Therapy required
• Wisconsin RCP license required (pending license at time of submittal accepted)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum two years experience as a staff respiratory therapist required
• Pediatric and adult experience preferred
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Level I and Level II Trauma experience required
• Must pass telemetry exam prior to start with strict passing criteria for lethal rhythm identification and cardiac interpretation
• Floating to other units as needed is required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
