Description
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:4 patient ratio; every other weekend required; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
Highlights:
- Progressive care environment with 12-bed admit unit serving intermediate-level medical-surgical patients
- Patient diagnoses include dysrhythmias, CHF, acute stroke symptoms, and acute coronary syndrome
- All patients monitored on hardwire telemetry with RN self-monitoring responsibilities
- Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system in use
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed based on census
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management, central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and non-invasive airway management
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Full compliance required prior to start date; incomplete compliance results in two-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
