Start Date: September 2, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts; Nights; Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday 1830-0700; 13-20 week contract

Highlights:

• Work with diverse imaging protocols including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and peripheral MRA
• Utilize advanced techniques such as diffusion, gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, and CINE
• No call requirement and no floating between units
• Epic charting system with GE and Siemens equipment
• Serve a broad patient population including neonates through geriatrics, with preferred focus on pediatric populations
• Comprehensive orientation provided; royal blue scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Recent hospital experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Current ARRT-MR and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE protocols
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• North Carolina state license or Compact license required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be available for full orientation schedule, which may vary across the first week

Additional Information:

• Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events or disasters
• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved during the contract (excluding holidays and first week); must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Pre-start online modules required (approximately 8-10 hours, non-billable)
• Orientation includes hospital-wide training; full availability required during orientation week
