Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), every other weekend required with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

• High-volume birthing unit with over 300 births per month and approximately 20 births in 24 hours
• Fast-paced environment with 2:1 patient ratios; double labor assignments are a daily occurrence

• Float opportunities within the Special Maternity Care high-risk OB unit as needed
• Full interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required; 3 years strongly preferred
• Documented experience working in a high-volume facility with greater than 300 births per month
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Current certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate (or C-EFM), and NRP
• Competency in circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, and immediate newborn care
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and work in a very fast-paced environment
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
