Description
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (36 hours per week), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Weekend and rotating holiday coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Shifts assigned based on organizational needs with flexibility between days and nights.

- Patient ratio of approximately 1:3 in a 28-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit
- Epic charting system utilized for all patient documentation
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
- Diverse patient population including all system issues in geriatric adults with complex care needs
- Float requirements within units of equivalent or lower acuity as organizational needs dictate
- Parking options available ranging from $16.35 to $224.80 per month with convenient shuttle services
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts and cardiac telemetry monitoring required
- Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Skills in blood product administration, central line management, IV insulin protocols, heparin protocols, wound care, tracheostomy care, and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with peritoneal dialysis, feeding tube management, and specialty equipment including bladder scanners and EKG
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

Additional Information:
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing. Those outside Ohio but within driving distance will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location; others will receive mailed packets. Strict compliance deadlines apply, with completion required by the Tuesday prior to start date. Former employees must have been away from the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
