Description
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Choice of 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) or 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM). Patient ratio 1:3. 60-70 cases per day across 9 procedure rooms. 3 weekend shifts per contract. 24 hours of orientation provided.
Highlights:
- High-volume endoscopy unit performing advanced GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP with spyglass technology, endoscopic ultrasound, and therapeutic interventions
- Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, and adults with complex diagnoses ranging from active GI bleeding to post-transplant care
- Comprehensive procedural experience with Olympus endoscopy equipment, BRAVO capsule placement, radiofrequency ablation, and endoscopic bariatric procedures
- Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams
- Two pre-approved time off periods available during assignment
- Multiple parking options available ranging from $15.67 to $215 per month with shuttle services
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Endoscopy experience required
- PACU experience strongly preferred
- Experience with 1:1 patient ratio required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Skills required: circulating, colonoscopy, EGD, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, monitoring conscious sedation, starting and maintaining IVs
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
