Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Choice of 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) or 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM). Patient ratio 1:3. Daily census of 60-70 cases per day with approximately 65 visits. Three weekend shifts per contract required. 24 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Advanced endoscopy unit performing a comprehensive range of procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP with spyglass technology, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), bariatric endoscopy, and specialized interventions
• Exposure to complex cases including GI bleeding management, esophageal varices treatment, Barrett's esophagus ablation, foreign body removal, and pre/post organ transplant care
• State-of-the-art equipment including Olympus endoscopes and processors, endoscopic ultrasound equipment, and ERBE cautery systems
• Multidisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, and adults across diverse GI pathologies
• Two pre-approved time off periods available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Endoscopy experience required
• PACU experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Skills required: circulating, colonoscopy, EGD, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, monitoring conscious sedation, starting and maintaining IVs
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
