Description
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; holiday coverage as applicable; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
Highlights:
- 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients serving adult to geriatric populations
- Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with comprehensive cardiac and medical diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, sepsis, and PE/DVT
- Epic EMR system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication preferred
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, and Heparin protocols
- Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience; full compliance required prior to start date
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience with 1:4-5 patient ratio experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Demonstrated competency in cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac drips, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, blood product administration, and central line management
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, IV insulin protocols, and wound care/wound vac preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
