Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call

Highlights:

• Specialize in post-operative cardiac care with a focus on open heart surgery patients
• Utilize advanced cardiac monitoring skills including rhythm interpretation and response
• Manage complex cardiac equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, and various drainage systems
• Work with non-invasive ventilation devices, high-flow oxygen systems, and advanced respiratory support
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac catheterization patients with radial and femoral access
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven healthcare environment

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact License recognized in Ohio
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Post-operative open heart care experience required
• Critical care experience highly preferred
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) specific to Progressive Care Unit
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and recognition of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
• Experience with chest tube and drain management
• Willingness to float to all units within skill level
