# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule:

1:2 patient ratio, every other weekend required, 10-bed unit with average daily census of 7, multidisciplinary rounds Monday-Friday at 10 AM with intensivist

Highlights:

- Specialized cardiovascular intensive care unit focusing on complex cardiac patients including those with LVADs, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, and temporary pacemakers- Work alongside a dedicated intensivist Monday through Friday with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams- Advanced critical care skills utilized including titration of cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, CRRT management, and care of ventilated patients- Epic EMR system with supportive technology including Pyxis medication management- Free charge nurse model providing additional unit support and leadership- Contract allows up to 7 days requested time off with advance planning

Requirements:

- Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state licensure- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care setting- Proficiency in cardiovascular intensive care procedures including arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drip titration- Epic charting experience preferred- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
