Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend coverage (average 6 weekends per contract). Floating across multiple units required including ICU, PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units. No call requirement. 48-hour guarantee available but not mandatory.

Highlights:

• Float Pool position with primary assignment to ICU but flexibility to support MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU units
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS/MS Tele
• Epic EMR system (required experience), plus Pyxis and SBAR
• Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse case mix across all critical care and medical-surgical diagnoses
• Maximum 7 days requested time off (RTO) per contract; RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients in critical care settings
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, and ABG interpretation
• Willingness to float across multiple units as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date
