Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours), every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal patient care delivery
• No on-call requirements

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Specialized experience with complex critical care patient populations including multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, and renal/liver failure
• State-of-the-art equipment including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors and ventilators, and boom lifts in each patient room

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation system required
• Demonstrated competency with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Experience managing patients with continuous IV sedation and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership position)
• Willingness to float to different units within the organization as needed
