# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Pasadena, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day and night shifts available; alternating weekends required; staffing based on patient volume forecast**Highlights:** - 30-bed Emergency Department in a modern South Tower facility- Advanced patient care technology including ultrasound, defibrillators, advanced monitors, and EKG machines- Patient ratios of 1:5 maximum, acuity dependent- Comprehensive team support with 49 FTE staff, leadership, and ancillary personnel- EMR system: Meditech, transitioning to Expanse in August 2026- Opportunity to work with high-acuity cases including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients**Requirements:** - Current Texas RN license- ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and CPI with TIC certifications required- NRP and STABLE certifications preferred- Extensive experience in emergency nursing with advanced critical thinking skills- Demonstrated expertise in trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols- Adult and pediatric ED experience preferred- Experience with advanced procedures including thoracotomy, arterial lines, and massive transfusion protocols**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** Join a skilled emergency care team dedicated to providing life-saving treatment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
