# Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – AlaskaStart Date: ASAP
Location: Alaska

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Days; On-call 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend; Some Saturdays included as part of regular schedule; Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week periodHighlights:- Work in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility recognized as the Best Hospital in Alaska by U.S. News & World Report- Perform advanced cardiac and interventional procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, STEMI, structural heart (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), EP procedures, and interventional radiology- Utilize cutting-edge technology including Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, stroke thrombectomy, and CRM device implants- Cross-train across multiple modalities with opportunity to float to Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, and Neurointerventional procedures- Chart in Epic electronic medical records system with specialized software including McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP- 407-bed acute care hospital with comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional servicesRequirements:- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required- BLS and ACLS certifications required- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist- Required experience: Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular procedures, Monitoring, and Neuro procedures- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years- First-time travelers accepted- Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with CTO, peripheral interventions, venous access, and rhythm interpretation- Familiarity with Philips X-Ray System- Experience with various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices- Temporary LVAD support experience- McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP system experienceWhy It's a Great Opportunity:Join a nationally recognized healthcare team at Alaska's premier medical center, where you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills across multiple advanced cardiovascular and interventional specialties.
