Description
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend (average 6 weekends per contract). Maximum 7 days requested time off. Flexible scheduling required for float pool position. Holiday coverage as assigned based on major holidays falling within assignment period.
Highlights
- Float Pool position covering Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and Progressive Care Units throughout the facility
- Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS and MS Telemetry
- Epic EMR system (experience required), Pyxis, SBAR communication
- Adult to geriatric patient population with diverse diagnoses across MS, MS Telemetry, and PCU specialties
- 24 hours orientation provided; compliance must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year experience
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with patient ratios 1:5/1:6 MS Telemetry and 1:3/1:4 PCU
- Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, central line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, IV protocols, and dysrhythmia management
- Willingness to float to all MS, MS Telemetry, and PCU units within the facility
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
