Location: Lubbock, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Block scheduling with 1:1 patient ratios. On-call required for weekday nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekend call required once per month. 8-hour orientation provided. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Specialty focus in Orthopedics (Total Joints, Sports Medicine, Mako robotic surgery), Gynecology, and General OR procedures
• Work with advanced surgical technology including Mako Surgical System, Hana Table, and Steris equipment
• Epic EMR charting system in use facility-wide
• Daily census of approximately 20 patients across 7 operating rooms
• Floating between units as needed based on facility requirements
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Specialized skills required: Orthopedic procedures (total joint replacements, Mako robotic surgery), Gynecological procedures, Sports Medicine, and experience with laparoscopic and arthroscopic techniques
• Proficiency in perioperative procedures including sterile technique, specimen handling, code response, and administration of blood products
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years required prior to start
