Description
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 guaranteed hours per week. No call required. No weekend coverage.
Highlights:
- Outpatient oncology clinic specializing in genitourinary cancers including kidney, prostate, bladder, and related GU malignancies
- Patient ratio of 1:12 with approximately 45 visits per day in a 34-room clinic setting
- Medical and surgical oncology capabilities including chemotherapy administration, biopsies, and minor in-clinic procedures
- Epic charting system experience required; teaching facility environment
- 30 hours of orientation provided; float only to other outpatient clinics within scope
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of application
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Oncology experience strongly preferred, particularly outpatient oncology
- Proficiency in accessing/managing ports, central line care, chemotherapy administration, IV starts and maintenance, phlebotomy, and Foley catheter management
- Experience with special equipment including bladder scanners and biopsy equipment preferred
- Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
- Two professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference

Units are nice, staff are kind. Single patient rooms with 4:1 ratios day and night on med surg.
Cons
Scheduled every weekend, floated for the first 6 weeks of contract every shift. Not traveler friendly even though they say they are. Staff are treated well not travelers.
