Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Michigan

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Bay City, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time with every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirement

Highlights:

• Provide respiratory care services across emergency care, intensive care, and therapeutic treatment settings
• Work with diverse patient populations requiring invasive and non-invasive monitoring and diagnostic testing
• Collaborate directly with physicians to develop individualized patient treatment plans
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities including chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, CPAP, and BIPAP therapies
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the respiratory care department
• Perform diagnostic testing including lung capacity measurements and cardiopulmonary assessments

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Travel experience preferred
