# Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist – West VirginiaStart Date: August 31, 2026

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 8:30 PM), weekend rotation (1 weekend every 4-5 weeks, Friday evening through Monday morning), weekday call required (2 nights per week from 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM), weekend call every 4-5 weeks with rotating 12-hour primary/secondary call coverageHighlights:- High-volume cardiac catheterization lab at a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds- Daily census of 35-45 procedures with 1:1 staffing ratios- Advanced procedural mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman, valve interventions), complex interventions (CTO, Impella, IABP, ECMO, shockwave), and full range of adult cardiac procedures- State-of-the-art equipment including Siemens Artiz Z & Q systems, Cerner EHR, and multiple advanced technologies- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 2-hour callback minimum- Free parking and hospital-provided scrubsRequirements:- Active West Virginia state license or compact license (pending license accepted for submission, but active WV license required by start date)- ARRT(R) registration required (RCIS or RCES credentials NOT accepted in West Virginia)- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)- Minimum 1 year of cardiac catheterization lab experience required (3 years preferred)- Competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, including structural heart procedures- Previous travel healthcare experience strongly preferred due to high procedural volume and fast-paced environment- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)- Two professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 yearsWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to work in a premier teaching hospital environment with exposure to cutting-edge cardiac procedures and advanced structural heart interventions.
