Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotational call coverage; every third weekend (maximum 2 weekends per month); 4 procedure rooms with average daily volume of 25 patients

Highlights:

• Interventional Radiology setting serving diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Epic EMR system required; experience with stroke thrombectomy procedures is mandatory
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Rotational call shared among team members; predictable weekend scheduling
• Maximum 7 days of approved time off available per contract period
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Stroke thrombectomy experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, vascular closure systems, sheath removal/monitoring, and procedural sedation
• Experience with dysrhythmia management, emergency medications, thrombolytics, and blood product administration
• Full compliance documentation must be completed by deadline to ensure timely start
