# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU Level III – PennsylvaniaStart Date: September 21, 2026Location: East Stroudsburg, PennsylvaniaCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Every other weekend required; No on-callHighlights:- Level III NICU with 8 beds caring for neonates from less than 24 weeks to greater than 34 weeks gestational age- Maintain 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios across all shifts for focused, quality care- In-house neonatologist available 24/7 with dedicated NICU team attending high-risk deliveries- Comprehensive clinical experience with advanced ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and umbilical catheter care- First-time travelers welcome; scrubs provided- No floating required; focused assignment within the NICU unitRequirements:- Active Pennsylvania Single State or Compact RN license required at time of submission- Minimum 1 year of NICU Level III experience- Current certifications: BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)- Proficiency in ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP), Bubble CPAP, HFNC, and Vapotherm- Experience with UAC/UVC placement and management, arterial and central line care, and IV starts- Competency in neonatal conditions including RDS, meconium aspiration, NAS, sepsis workup, and hyperbilirubinemia management- Skills in phlebotomy, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, and neonatal dosage calculations- Knowledge of feeding modalities including bottle, breast, and gavage feedings with breastfeeding support- Pennsylvania state fingerprinting required; flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)- All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application; block scheduling cannot be accommodated- Ability to complete all pre-start compliance requirements before scheduled start dateWhy It's a Great Opportunity:Join a dedicated team at a 201-bed community teaching hospital providing specialized care to the region's most vulnerable newborns and their families.
