# Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Schedule:

3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, weekdays with every other weekend, holidays as assigned, no call required

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a community emergency department with 9-bed capacity and daily census of approximately 40 patients
• Comprehensive patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 4:1 patient ratio with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Cerner charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Blocked schedule requests may be considered if submitted with initial application
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, NRP, CPI, MAB, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Previous small emergency department experience strongly preferred
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Competency in IV insertion, triage, and comprehensive emergency care
• Experience with trauma patient care, stroke protocols, and mixed acuity patient populations
• Must reside outside of 75-mile facility radius
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
